I think my boss is training me to be the SEO expert in our company. A few months ago; I was tasked to promote a new website. I was given five keywords for that site and my goal is to increase the keyword rank of the site in both google and yahoo pages. When this site appears in page 1 or 2 of Google and Yahoo, then I would receive a cash bonus! It was a challenge at first because the website is unsearchable in the land of search engines. We have to do a little editing of the title and meta tags as well as modify the content. I also did my share of researching for techniques we can apply to have higher page rank, increase backlinks, etc. We tried blog commenting, forum posting, and even join paid to blog sites.a SEO really takes time, patience and lots of effort. It can sometimes be frustrating too to wait for so long. But it was also fulfilling to see your site climb its way to the top…slowly. From page nowhere to page 12 to page 9 to 6 to 4. And now after months of working on the site-- I finally reached my goal!!! All of the keywords are now in the page 1 and 2 of Google and Yahoo. I am so happy and feeling like an SEO guru now hehe. Of course, I am not but I just can’t wait for my next SEO assignment.

I have lots of thoughts in my mind lately because of the fact that I would soon be giving birth. Where will I give birth, how will I give birth, how much will it cost, what are the things that I need to prepare, the tasks at the office that needs to be finished before I take a leave. Well it is easy to be overwhelmed but I’d rather take it one day at a time and relax. Besides it seems that so far my pregnancy is fine and healthy.
I went to my OB yesterday for a checkup and she said there is nothing to worry about. I am fine and so is the baby. I am also happy that I have gained weight because I lost a few pounds during my first trimester. So far I am not manas and also have no stretch marks- I am quite proud of that fact. I don’t know, for some reason my tummy is not so itchy. I think it is because of the St. Ives Body Wash that I am using and I also apply virgin coconut oil every day.
I have also started inquiring about hospital rates. In Polymedic hospital in Mandaluyong, birth packages range from Php35,000 to Php41,000 plus other additional fees that would depend on the condition of the mother and baby. I am yet to inquire rates of other nearby hospitals. I also need to prepare my Philhealth form so I can use it. I need my Philhealth ID or member’s data record, proof of contribution and Philhealh claim form 1 to be signed by my employer before I take a leave
Well, there are still other things to think about and prepare but with God’s help, I would be able to accomplish all of them before I give birth.
I took an arts and humanities subject back in college and I really enjoyed that class. The professor was great and I learned a lot from her- made me appreciate art more. One of our class activities back then was visiting art museums and. She would made us look at the art pieces, made us choose the best painting for us then let us interpret and draw it too.
The drawing part was a challenge because I am not a great artist- but I was surprised because I was able to do it and I even earned a grade of 1 for that! I
I was so proud of that art work then and whenever I remember that, it made me want to visit art galleries again.
I miss visiting an art gallery because art calms me and the beauty of the masterpieces as well as superb talent of the artists made me appreciate life more. Such is the works of a great artist named Dino Rosin. His works are featured in a full service art gallery in Los Angeles. This art gallery also offers paintings to the public at dealer prices. If only I have the money and resources, I would gladly visit this art gallery and even purchase some art pieces. It would surely be great experience.
I was tagged by Deeto take this quiz that lets people know their name if they were born in different era. I find it cool and apparently if I was born in the 1950’s then my name would be completely different. I find this site useful because I am still searching for a name for my baby. I already have one name in mind but it is still not final yet.
All I can say is that I love my current name better. Let me share my 1950’s name:
Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" style='color:black; font-size: 14pt;'>
There really is no place like home so we all want a house that will let us be as comfortable as we can. A good housekeeper makes sure that a house is clean, organized, stylish, spacious, and more importantly pests-free.
No one wants to share their residences with pests such as rodents, cockroaches, termites, ants, and yucky rats. They are hazardous to one’s health, bring lots of hazards and may even ruin our precious dwellings. Sadly most of these pests multiply so fast they are so hard to get rid of, even if one strives to keep the house clean.
The good news is that you can sought the help of pest control services such as Dallas Pest Control, a company that provide a customized pest control service plan that provides solution to pest problems of both residential and commercial establishments.
One can be assured that Dallas Pest Control can solve their problems with pest because they used the most advanced technology and training, making it the best in its industry. What’s more, they treat the homes/ properties of their customers like it is their own.
So if you’re bothered by pests, do not risk your homes and the comfort of your family, avail the services of an effective pest control service like Dallas Pest Control.
After less than 5 months of blogging, I am happy to announce that. Swirling Thoughts now has a page rank of 2. After being page rank 0 for months, I was ecstatic when I found out that my blog was finally promoted in the land of search engines.
I discovered this when I log in to a site that pays bloggers to write reviews this morning and was surprised to see that many opportunities are available to me.
When I checked my rank in google page rank checker, I saw that I now have a blog page rank of 2! This is definitely good news worth blogging about! I will strive to maintain and even improve this rank.

I will give birth soon and I want to be prepared and know what to expect Let me share this information to all pregnant women out there like me. I got this from an old magazine and find it very useful.
Stage One:The Early Phase
Feels Like:
I’d been having contractions- they were noticeable but not regular. My stomach would get tight, and I’d feel a dull throb. When I walked, it felt like the baby’s head was pressing against me, and she might fall out if I moved my legs too far apart.
What’s happening? Regular contractions caused your cervix to begin effacing and dilating. The contractions get closer together and more intense, lasting up to a minute each. You may notice whitish or pinkish mucous discharge- that’s normal.
Lasts: 12-14 hours or longer for first-time moms.
Survival Tips
üDon’t clock watch- Obsessive timing wears you out
üDrink plenty- It’s easy to get dehydrated.
üHit the bathroom- It gives your baby room
The Active Phase
Feels Like:Suddenly the pain really hit. My body felt like it was being twisted in the middle, and I could feel the pain in every part of my body. I was surprised by how much my back hurt- I hadn’t expected that.
What’s Happening? Contractions get more intense and more frequent. If you hadn’t already called your OB, do it when painful contractions lasts 60 seconds or more every 5 minutes for an hour.
Lasts: 6 or more hours. Usually longer for first time moms.
Survival Tips
üKeep moving. You may find it more comfortable to walk during contractions.
üGet wet. A warm bath or shower can speed up labor.
üAsk for relief. Research suggests this stage may be the best time to start pain relief.
Transition:
Feels Like: I was shaking all over and felt like I was going to throw up. It felt like there was no space for contractions anymore. I got dizzy because I forgot to breathe.
What’s happening? This is the most intense stage of labor. By its end, your cervix is fully dilated. Contractions which are very strong come about every 2 minutes and lasts a minute or longer. You may feel dizzy, nauseated, cold, angry, or dislike being touched.
Lasts: From a few minutes to a few hours.
Survival Tips
üAsk for help. This is the most intense part of labor so ask for encouragement or pain relief if you need it.
üDo some preparatory talk. Remind yourself before contractions start that the hard part ends.
Stage Two:
Feels Like: The pain didn’t stop, but it became bearable. I’d heard about pushing but didn’t realize how intense it would feel. Before I felt controlled by the pain, but now I can control it.
What’s happening? Your baby pushes through the birth canal, causing intense pressure. Contractions spread out; you can rest between them. You may feel a burning sensation as your baby’s head stretches the perineal tissue. Stage two ends when your baby is born.
Lasts: From a few minutes to a few hours.
Survival Tips
üKeep trying. Move around until you find a comfortable position.
üTake it easy. The decent may take a while. Let your uterus work before pushing.
üEnjoy it. These moments are magical.
Stage Three
Feels Like: I was excited to see my daughter that I barely noticed what was happening.I felt a few mild contractions, almost like aftershocks. I was shaking all over- but I felt so happy seeing my daughter that I didn’t care.
What’s happening? Contractions push your placenta away from e uterine wall and through your birth canal. The hormone changes can make you shake or feel cold.
Lasts: 10 minutes on average
Survival Tips
üFall in love. Your brand new baby can be the best coping mechanism.
üSpeak up. If you’re cold, ask for blanket. If you’re sore, ask about pain relief.
The success of a business can be measured by the recognition it receive from different sectors. Awards and citations from different organizations means a business is considered to be the best in its field, or has something unique in them worth emulating. Such is the case of Real Property Management that recently receives "Franchise of the Year Honorable Mention" award. Aside from that RPM Midwest was also featured in the Bizjournal of Cincinnati and Columbus.
Recent changes in the RPM also guarantee its commitment to further improve its services. One is that Freddie Mac has signed an exclusive agreement with Real Property Management to manage the new REO Rental Initiative. Also, RPM Midwest joins the National Association of Residential Property Managers to ensure the highest standards in property management services. With over 20,000 units nationwide that RPM manages, there is really no stopping its climb to the top.
I am bored at work yesterday and a little sleepy so I decided to browse and read interesting articles on the net to perk me up. I came across a site that features birth stories of different women- how it happened, how they felt, etc. Of course, I find them interesting, but because I have always been an engrossed reader- one that gets lost in the words of a book or essay- I kind of also felt the intense pain and suddenly can’t continue reading anymore. Just thinking that I am soon to experience all that almost made me dizzy- oh I wish I can lie but it really got me scared. But instead of concentrating on the hardships, I decided to focus on the positive aspect. You know, thinking how painful it would feel would not do me any good. All the stories there have a happy ending and I am amazed that all moms actually want to go through the pain again just to experience the joy they felt upon seeing their baby. So fortunately, the feeling of dread was replaced with the thought that I am about to experience one of life’s greatest mysteries. I just have to be strong. I also need the support of my loved ones and of course lots and lots of prayers
For me, to be called creative is one of the best compliments one can receive. That is why I am so grateful to Deefor choosing me to be one of the recipients for this award.
The Rules of this Award are:
1. Take your award and put the logo on your post. 2. Link the person who awarded you. Remember each recipient of the award should acknowledge the person who honored them and go toMom's Special Diary to copy and paste the award. 3. Put your own blog title and link. 4. Nominate at least five deserving moms.
Just want to share a couple of cute baby pictures I found lately. These tiny creatures are just so charming and adorable. They would surely brighten anyone’s day. Just looking at these pictures made me smile.
HSBC offered me another credit card 2 months ago and I accepted it. It comes with the MYScreen LCD TV promo that can be purchased with a 50% discount on an installment basis. I don’t want to avail it at first because I am not so sure of the brand quality and is quite hesitant because we had to purchase it via card on an 18 month-installment basis. That is too long for me.
Anyway after much thought, we finally purchased it. We are slowly purchasing furniture and appliances we can use when we finally moved to our new house. So far, the LCD TV is okay and now sits comfortably in our living room. Have no complains except for its noticeably poor audio. We still had to buy a speaker so the sound will be clearer and more audible. My husband plans to buy a CPU and keyboard so we can use it as PC monitor as well. I bet it will make a nice screen for games.
My husband and I are excited to move into our new house next year. This early we are already thinking of home designs and even furniture we would buy. We both want to purchase furniture that are durable and economical but look elegant as well.
I want a large comfortable and stylish bed, some nice chandeliers that would brighten up a room, lamps with unique designs, and a rocking chair where one can sit and relax. We also want a house that is peaceful and relaxing and I guess rustic furniturewould be perfect for that kind of house.

My boss ran a domain name contest office in the office a few months ago. It is for a new site we will launch this year and of course everyone submitted their entries with excitement and hope that their entry will win. There was voting and the like and then after everything --- guess who emerges as the winner- who else but me!!!
My boss announced it last Friday and wow that was a nice way to end a workweek that started with heavy rains and me feeling sick. (I wasn’t able to go to work last Monday).
I am so happy not only because I can use the extra cash but also because it really feels nice to be a winner. It’s not a very hard contest I know especially because I am supposed to be the writer in the office and we are not really that many, but hey, it’s great to feel that lady luck smiled on my side. Especially because it was the second round of domain name contest in the office and I am also the winner last year!
As expected, all of my officemates are urging me to give them a treat. Well they don’t have to beg too much. I am feeling happy and generous and want to share the blessing. I will gladly treat them when I get the prize.
I discovered this site for moms last month- MomCenter. I decided to register because I think it will give me useful information about parenting and the like. It is also nice to interact with fellow mothers out there. To my surprise, weeks after being a member, I received an invitation for a free dinner at I-Repulik resto in Tomas Morato. Apparently I was invited because I am one of the active members of the site. So last Friday night (May 29), I went to I-Republik and shared a delicious dinner with other members. We talked about the site, what we want to see from it, and others. It was nice to meet Mariel, Ramine, her sister Raj, and Ivy of Spinning Lovely Days.
As an expectant mom, I find it great to get to know mothers like them who seem so proud of their children. As reward for attending, Nikki, the editor of MomCenter also gave each of us a voucher for a free protein hair treatment at Azta Urban Salon. I thank my husband for accompanying me at this event and for waiting patiently at the adjacent resto while I spend time with MomCenter members.
I am not really an adventurer or a traveler because I love staying at home. So migrating to another country is not really part of my plans for now. But one reason why I would consider living outside the Philippines is probably to experience a different weather.
The weather has been extreme lately. One day it will be too hot to the point that it is almost unbearable then the next day, you will be greeted with cloudy skies, earsplitting thunderstorms, and heavy rains. Sometimes, it is hard to rely on weather reports because it is so unpredictable.
The summer season may be over now but most Filipinos want to move to cooler places like America to enjoy better weather. So I am surprised to find out that even in America, you may still have to experience hot weather. It is summertime now in America and the temperature in Arizona, one of its sunniest state can actually goes up to 80 degrees Celsius! How hot can that get.
Good thing that residents there can get through the hot weather by living in a comfortable abode such as what Scottsdale real estate offers. If you are based in America, and are considering an Arizona relocation, this real estate company is recommended.
I love reading and I want to pass that love to my daughter. As a child, I am exposed to lots of books in the house because my siblings are also book lovers. I am exposed to all kinds of reading materials from fairytale books, encyclopedias, Archie comic books, textbooks, Mills and Boons, Sweet Dreams, Nancy Drew adventures, Readers Digest, etc.
So this early, I am searching for a list of good children's book that I can read aloud to my child someday. Here are some recommended books for children:
Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. Laugh together with your kids as you read throughthe wacky rhymes and look at the funny illustrations.
Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown- A bedtime book with simple words and repetitions, a great book even for the youngest of children.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle-Younger kids will enjoy learning numbers and the days of the week while older kids will be entertained to see how a caterpillar grows into a butterfly.
