Today is a holiday, because it is the day of former President Aquino’s funeral. The weather is gloomy and perfect to stay home and rest but I took this opportunity to go to Redemptorist Church in Baclaran and attend a novena mass.
I want to do it before I give birth because I want to pray for a happy delivery. I went there together with my mother and husband. We woke up early to catch the early mass schedule and as usual there are so many people and I am always amazed at the depth of their devotions. Going to church like this one makes me feel proud to be a Filipino because I am amazed at the deep faith of the people. After mass, we bought half kilo of lechon because Baclaran is famous for this delicacy.

That's a nice way to spend a holiday. The lechon sounds good, reminds me how I haven't eaten one in a long time. I'll make it a point to buy one one of these days.
By the way, regarding your new part time job - saan iyon? What site?
