Have You Tried: Jugnos Monster Pizza

Are you craving for pizza and want it somehow different from the usual Shakeys, Pizza Hut or Greenwich- why not try Jugnos Monster Pizza? My officemate introduced me and our whole office to this pizza years ago and we all loved it so it is one of the regular orders whenever we have celebrations at the office. Our household has also become a regular customer.

It is a must-try because it is simply very tasty. Each bite is bursting with flavor and it comes in four different sauces.  Another thing that makes it unique is they are offering it in huge party size (20 x 20 inches) that is said to be good for 6 to 8 persons.

Their pizza also comes in smaller sizes and one can choose from different flavors such as beef and mushroom monster, all-veggie monster, monster special, etc. I realized we always order the monster special so next time, I wish to try the all-veggie monster and the cheesy garlic.

Their monster size is affordable (Php448 for classic flavors and php590 for signature flavors). One can also add extra toppings for additional costs. You can also customize the pizza and request the number of slices you want. You can also have four different flavors in one pizza.

I don’t think they have an actual resto because their store in Mandaluyong which is near our house is very small. Their delivery hotline via text is 0906-305-1132.

They offer free delivery for a minimum order of Php250 and are open for 24 hours but their delivery areas are limited: Ortigas, San Juan, Pasay, Mandaluyong, Baclaran and Pasig

Philippine Restaurants with Online Delivery Outside Metro Manila

Whenever our family is in Cavite, we tend to be in a vacation mode so we would sometimes be so lazy to cook that we would settle for food delivery. But since we don’t have a landline number and calling via cellphone would be costly, we prefer to order our food online.

It is a bit of a challenge at first because at present there are very few restaurants that offer online delivery and from the restos that do have an online delivery, only a handful offer delivery service outside Metro Manila. I know there are online delivery sites out there but I somehow find them confusing.

So far, I only know two restaurants with excellent online delivery service that caters to customers outside Metro Manila– Jollibee and Max’s Fried Chicken.

I find the online delivery service of Jollibee and Max’s fast and convenient. However, of the two, the system of Jollibee Online Delivery is far better. Their website has easy to use features and the service prompt and complete. Once you are done ordering and paying, you will receive an email about the status of your order. I will always get  call from a Jollibee crew to confirm and clarify other things about my order.

On the other hand, Max’s online delivery is also easy to use but they  need to improve their email notification system because it would sometimes come late. Based from my experience, their staff would not give me a call prior to delivery. It is not really a hassle but it would leave me wondering if my order is already on the way.

In the end, these two restos can make your staycation hassle-free and more fun. I hope more restaurants would soon offer online delivery too.

Jollibee Online Delivery Thru Facebook

It was raining hard last Saturday night in Cavite where my family decided to spend the weekend. We ate an early dinner at 5pm so we are hungry again at around 8pm. We are craving for midnight snacks but we don’t want to go out because of the rain.

Unfortunately there are no interesting food stalls in our area where we can conveniently buy food. My husband suggested take out food for a change but I figured it would be difficult since we do not have a landline phone. It was then that I remember that Jollibee is offering an online delivery via Facebook.

So I tried it and I find it simple and easy. There is a catalog of meals and you just choose the food you want. You can cancel an order made within 5 minutes after placing an order. Then after confirming your purchase, you would receive a copy of your orders thru email.

Minutes after confirmation, we received a call from Joliibee to inform us that one of our orders is not available and offered us an alternative. After more or less 20 minutes, the Jollibee delivery boy is already knocking on our door.

This is not a paid post or anything but for those who are craving for fries and burgers and want to order take out food, I would recommend the Jollibee online delivery service.

I am not sure if there are other restos that offer this kind of service but I think this is the most convenient way to order food from a resto. Their technology is fast, simple plus they are open 24/7. And you can do it via Facebook!
